First, you need your Character ID. If you don't know it, you can obtain it by going to the My Character page on the EVE website. Log on to the forums, then select the "My Character" link in the "EVE Insider" section of the menu bar on the left. You may be presented with a choice of all your available characters, click on one.

Here you will see your basic character info sheet. Look at the URL. At the right end of it is somthing like "...?characterID=12345678" -- that number is your character ID. Subsitute your character ID in the following URL after "c=" at the end:

On THIS forum, go to Profile, then select Modify Profile -> Forum Profile.
Select the "I have my own pic" button and place the above URL in the text box.
